Nursing Science Doctoral Day

The Nursing Science Doctoral Day is an annual event designed to bring together PhD candidates in Nursing Science from Basel and Lausanne to foster exchange, share research ideas, present and receive feedback on our research projects and promote collaboration. For the first time, the event will be student-led, creating the opportunity to shape the event according to the interests and needs of the PhD candidates.

Career Development in Nursing Science

As a result of a survey conducted among all Nursing Science PhD students, the topic of career development specifically in nursing science was identified as a topic of highest interest.

To address this gap, we invite PhD graduates in nursing science to share their career paths, and discuss the challenges and opportunities they’ve encountered. Our aim is to create an opportunity to gain insights into diverse career trajectories and their requirements.
