PPHS PhD Day

The PPHS PhD Day is a yearly event in April/May where you can meet your PhD colleagues from Health Sciences. We offer a program with invited speakers, PhD student presentations, and networking activities.

Parallel session 1: Science Communication – Sebastian Gibis
Do you want to use social media for science communication to become more visible as a researcher, raise awareness to your publications, or for another reason? In this session, Sebastian Gibis, digital communications officer at the University of Basel, shares his experience and tips about science communication using social media.

Parallel session 2: Conflict Management – Katrin Küchler
Do you want to learn about strategies to communicate intentionally and constructively? Katrin Küchler, trainer at the University of Basel, shares her experiences and insights about communication to avoid conflicts as well as how to deal with difficult conversations.
